Our 8-week summer strength and conditioning program helps athletes improve speed, power, mobility, and confidence through structured coaching and age-appropriate training. Athletes can attend up to 3 classes per week.

Train on your schedule with Extended Hours Access from 6am to 10pm daily, giving you the flexibility to get your work in when it fits your day-not just during limited facility hours.
Memberships at The Pen give athletes the freedom to train on their schedule with Extended Hours Access from 6am to 10pm daily. Non-team memberships are billed month-to-month with no long-term commitment.
Reserve a 30- or 60-minute cage rental for baseball or softball training at The Pen in Tacoma.

The Pen is a year-round baseball and softball training program built to develop better athletes—not just better teams. We work alongside your player’s youth program (we don’t replace it) by providing consistent, structured training focused on athletic development, skill refinement, durability, and measurable progress over time.
Athletes can train multiple times per week in an environment designed for long-term growth, combining strength and movement training with baseball- and softball-specific skill work like hitting, pitching, and fielding. The Pen gives players a clear path forward, gives parents accountability and visibility, and helps coaches by developing athletes who are more prepared, more resilient, and ready to perform when it matters.
